FUN-A-GO-GO's philosophy

We believe in products that entertain, spark the imagination and are easy to carry and easy to use. The FUN-A-GO-GO dry-erase board is the perfect example of what we mean. It's fun, always there for you, and whether you scribble, doodle, compose, teach or learn, you'll always have the right tool (or is it a toy?) in your hands.

We're all about hip, efficient, minimalist products to help active families play together (or separately!) and "draw on their imaginations" at any time.

About the company

FUN-A-GO-GO was founded by parents with one thing in common: create something that is both fun and functional. A shared experience between children and parents that can also provide an outlet for a child's curiosity and creativity as an individual.

Sheilah Crowley, founder

Mother of two, Sheilah left her non-profit management career to spend some time with her then two and four year old children. It was in the confines of a shoebox apartment and two eager children that she started to conceive of ways to spend time with her kids and have a good experience doing so. Forever looking for good products that entertain and enlighten – particularly having the right tool in the right place (cars, restaurants, airplanes) - she embarked on making a dry-erase board that was simple, efficient, interactive and affordable.

Like her non-profit work, Sheilah considers FUN-A-GO-GO a public service to all parents who lead active lives and need creative tools to keep the family unit happy.

Vicente Caride, co-founder

A print and web designer, Vicente has always seen the world through words and pictures. His earliest "drawing experiments" took place on his family's apartment walls in his native Argentina. Not such a good idea from his parent's point of view, but very satisfying for Vicente. Next came the shared experience of drawing with his father, taking turns making horses or funny cartoons.

At age 9, Vicente arrived in the United States. Thanks to an imaginative 4th grade teacher, drawing became a vehicle for learning a new language. By labeling the various items in his drawings, Vicente learned words like chariot, horse, Roman, arrow -- perfect for a nine year old!

Now Vicente draws and writes with his son and wife, also an artist; spending countless hours creating, laughing and learning. And the FUN-A-GO-GO is always there, ready for action.
