Fun ideas

There are so many ways to have fun with your FUN-A-GO-GO that we couldn't possibly fit everything on one board! So, here are a few more ideas. And if you have any ideas you want to share with everyone just send us an email and we'll add them to this page.

Explore a letter, make a drawing

Take the letter "B" for example and everyone who's playing has to call out something that starts with the letter B inside or outside the restaurant. Then someone in the group volunteers to make a drawing on the board that incorporates all of the objects mentioned (a car covered with chocolate with carrots on top!).

Draw a rudimentary family tree

Ask your child to help fill in the blanks with drawings of their loved ones. Include mom, dad, siblings, grandparents, and whoever else can fit! Tell family stories as you go.

Show me a pattern

Make a key for your child of three squares--each with a different pattern (circles, stripes, etc.) Label the squares A, B, C. Then draw three blank squares and write C, B, A below them. Ask your child to follow the key to fill in the blank squares. Repeat with different patterns of blank squares (A, C, C, A, C, C).

Who is that?

Draw 6 ovals on the board (2 rows of 3). While passing the board back and forth between kids or parents and kids, for each turn, a player gets to add two features to the board (e.g. a mouth on one face and a mustache on another). Pass the board around until you’ve run out of ideas (and don’t forget the freckles, whiskers, hats or flutes!).
